Daily Assignments

 Here's Makaylee's latest assignment sheets.

We are working on Psalm 84:11 for Bible and are getting close to done with our kid's Bible.

Science - We have been watching lots of animal and other science videos, however, I have failed to write them down.

Language Arts:

Makaylee is on #49 of the first 100 spelling words. We have been working on their, there, and they're for a couple of weeks now. She just about has it.

In journal, she is writing 8 words a day without me writing any of the words for her to trace. I am only helping her with spelling.

In copy work, next week when we get back from break,  she will be moving from tracing letters to doing them on her own.

We got a library card and Makaylee is delighted to find that she can actually read some of those books with only a little help.

In typing, she's working with the entire home row at 3 wpm with a 91% accuracy

Story time is when they get to pick library books for me to read to them. Makaylee loves anything to do with dance and the Bitty Baby series.

In math, she is adding 4 digit numbers and reading the answer aloud. She is also learning to add three 2 digit numbers. She has mastered counting by 2s and 5s. She has a money workbook that she's been working on and we are learning to tell time.

In social studies, I read the kids books. We have been focusing on Native Americans and early American history.

She was tagging along with Tyler watching Spanish videos, but we probably won't continue with that.
